Overview of my driving experience and qualifications:

I started driving commercially in 1979 for Dresser Atlas Wireline, in the oilfields of NW Oklahoma. Ran a Heavy Perforator and graduated through the ranks from Jr. Operator, to Senior Completions Operator, trained 17 operators to drive, handle blasting agents, high explosives, radioactive meterials safely, in my 3 years there. Our trucks were 47000# stretch frame International Transtar II Heavy Perforators.

In the oilfield crash of 1982 I left Dresser Atlas and began 5 years of contract employments with the National Park concessioners, worked in 7 National Parks and monuments all over the country, primarily in Security and Refrigeration Mechanic/Maintenance functions.

I returned to driving in 1986, in Houston Texas, running Intermodal Tractor trailer between Houston, Lake Charles and New Orleans.

The following year, entered a lease purchase program with North American where I was in the general freight division.

Following this, I moved to Wyoming and later Arizona, and began pulling tankers, including Rocky Mountain doubles and B-Trains. Hauled gasoline, diesel, field and iso-butane, and gained approx 5 years fuel hauling experience in Wyoming and Arizona.

In the early– mid 90’s I left OTR driving to raise my children, and began building and servicing Personal Computers. Fairly self taught and at first a hobby, I became one of the few computer builder/troubleshooters in the area of NE Oklahoma where I lived at that time. 7 years later, with decreasing profit margins and much lower prices there was little need for custom built systems. Prices had fallen from $1500-3200 for a system to 1/10th that. Children well into school, marriage dissolved, I left the area and moved to Canada.

3 years later, returned to Wyoming and trucking, hauling US Mail on a transport relay from Wyoming to Nebraska. Returned to Arizona and tanker work, hauling Sulfuric Acid to copper mines, accepted a job in Louisiana hauling Hydrochloric Acid to chemical plants, which did not pay well and had no reliable time off, so returned to the oilfields and tanker work with the newest 3 mentions on my resume.
